Moroccan Rugs

Each piece in our collection is handwoven and made from the finest handspun wool of local sheep. Berber rugs have been made by the various Berber tribes that inhabit the Atlas Mountains for generations and the tradition continues to this day. As does the tradition of weaving, which has been passed down from mother to daughter.
 
Beldi Home carries modern pieces that were made in the past decade or so and also carries several antique vintage rugs that are from the early to mid 20th century. The vintage pieces in our collection are verified through careful research and analysis of the knots, design and details of the piece.

Every one of the pieces in our collection was purchased directly from the artisans themselves. The majority of the older pieces in our collection were family heirlooms and were acquired by travelling to different villages knocking on doors.
